アーティストたちに実験中の習作やHDに隠された失敗作、ボツネタ、機材トラブルによって生まれた作品、そしていつもと異なるベクトルで制作された奇作など、通常の作風とは一線を画す作品を多数提供してもらい、それらを厳選して選曲した異色のコンピレーションアルバムである。それらの作品には、会話での発語や身振り手振りによる所作のような個々のアーティストの無意識の癖やバグ性が強く表れており、聴く者を予測不能な世界へと誘ってくれる。
また、参加アーティストには普段とは異なる変名での参加者もおり（PPTV、MC LAS、MUUPY、Marlyn Anasonic、FUKAMIDORI、民族M、T.CONTSU、etc…）、これがプロジェクトにさらなるバグ感や落書き風味の自由さに拍車をかけている。アルバム全体としては、一曲目から最後までジャンル横断型万華鏡系DJmixのようであり、まるでアーティストを代わる代わるターンテーブルに乗せたような体験を絶えず提供してくれ、BPM、質感、空間配置、インパクトなども作品ごとに大きく異なり、常に新しい展開が待っている。
このようなプロジェクトを「bUGER」と呼称し、今後もA NiCE FORMでシリーズ化していく計画である。このコンピレーションは、AIによって精査された音楽や動画の画一的なサブスクリプションとは対照的に、常に着地点を不明確にしながら聴く者に不自由な自由さをもたらす斬新な体験を大胆に提供することを目指していく。

[A NiCE FORM] works vol.3 Compilation Album 『bUGER』
The new experimental compilation album “bUGER” curated by the emerging label [A NiCE FORM], launches with a highly intriguing concept. It features unreleased “buggy” works from a diverse range of artists active across various genres, meticulously selected by founder this label. These works include experimental sketches, failures hidden in HD, scrapped ideas born from equipment troubles, and peculiar creations crafted from unconventional perspectives, diverging from their usual styles. Each piece vividly showcases the artists’ unconscious quirks and bug-like qualities through elements such as speech patterns, gestures, and more, inviting listeners into an unpredictable world.
Furthermore, the participation of artists under alias (PPTV, MC LAS, MUUPY, Marlyn Anasonic, FUKAMIDORI, MINZOKU M, T.CONTSU, etc.) adds to the project’s sense of eccentricity and graffiti-like freedom. The album as a whole offers an experience akin to a genre-crossing kaleidoscopic DJ mix from the first track to the last, constantly evolving like artists taking turns on a turntable. Each track varies significantly in BPM, texture, spatial arrangement, and impact, promising continuous new developments.
This project, referred to as “bUGER,” is planned to be serialized through A NiCE FORM. In contrast to standardized subscriptions of AI-curated music and videos, this compilation aims to provide listeners with a daring experience of discomforting freedom, always maintaining an unclear landing point.
Bonus track [DOBUTSU – oyugikai] is only available on the digital version.

変則新民謡キラー、エレクトロ登呂ばやし収録! 果たして存在するのか電子民謡界のニュー・スタンダード! 待望のNEW MINYO EPが12″リリース!

2010年からテクノ、ロック、ブルース、ヒップホップをベースに活動を重ね、つい先日はEM RECORDSからの映画「バンコクナイツ」トリビュート盤『田舎はいいね』 12″EPでタイの田舎歌謡ルークトゥンに日本の原風景を表出させた 東京アンダーグラウンド・シーンが誇る民俗エレクトロ・ミニマル音響カルテット、くふき。

長く現場で試し続けていたリアル民謡チューンの数々が、英国における日本音楽発掘の第一人者である 元HONEST JON’SのHOWARD WILLIAMSことJAPAN BLUESが新たに立ち上げたLES EDITIONS JAPONAISのレーベル第1弾として遂に待望のアナログ・リリース!

2016年4月、HOWARD WILLIAMS、俚謡山脈、くふきが新宿歌舞伎町BE-WAVEの地下フロアで邂逅したことからスタートしたプロジェクト。その時点ですでに俚謡山脈クラシックとしてフロアを沸かせ、盟友くふきにカヴァー・ネタとして提供されていた静岡の変則新民謡キラー”登呂ばやし”に、その日ゲストDJとして迎えられたHOWARDが即座に反応、その場で話が決まり紆余曲折を経て本リリースへと至っています。

元々かなりウィキッドな構造を持っていたまさしくニュー・ウェーヴ民謡”登呂ばやし”が電子的に解体再構築され生まれ変わったエレクトロ”TOROBAYASHI”をA面に、カップリングにはこちらも当時からアップデートを続けられた硬派でキレキレの茨城民謡”げんたか節”、さらに阿波踊りなど日本各地でみられる日本民謡ダンス・チューンの定番「はいや」系を下敷きにしたくふきのオリジナル・チューン”悪石島”、そして民謡の流転のネクスト・ステージを物語るようにダブに浸かるJAPAN BLUESによる”TOROBAYASHI IN DUB”をコンパイル。

TOROBAYASHI:
登呂ばやしは「黄金の声」の異名を持つ名人、初代鈴木正夫(MASAO SUZUKI)が唄う静岡県の新民謡である。当地の名物を歌詞に詠み込んだ民謡風の唄を「新民謡」と呼び、詠み人知らずの唄が大多数を占める元々の「民謡」と区別している。この登呂ばやしはビクターの名アレンジャー/作曲家である小沢直与志(NAOYOSHI OZAWA)の手により作られた。民謡のレコードをプレイするDJユニット俚謡山脈(RIYO MOUNTAINS)のセット・リストにも頻繁に上るキラー・チューンである。

GENTAKA-BUSHI:
茨城県に伝わる甚句(JINKU)形式(7-7-7-5で構成される詞の形式)の唄で、広く千葉や東京の沿岸部でも唄われていた。くふきのバージョンは茨城県の生んだ名民謡歌手である福田佑子(YUKO FUKUDA)のヴァージョンをベースに、北関東の荒涼としたフィーリング、国道6号線沿いの光景を重ね合わせている。

The 6th Album Bamako Beat Talk by the international band Spacewalk, reunits the roots of Roadmusic’s musical family. This album featuring Miss Maawa from Mali/Wassoulou, Kerfala Kante jr. from Guinee/Conakry and a member of the first Spacewalk formation, DeLab from Scotland/Glasgow.
This album presents some new voices and 70’s Korg-sythesizersound from the ethnic techno band Kufuki from Japan/Tokyo, the saxophonist/Peul-Flutist Nils Lidman from Sweden and a new Griot voice from Bamako, the singer and guitarist Adama Kouyaté. By a blend of Afrobeat- Wassoulou, Mandingue with European jazz, instrumental and upbeat dance music; Spacewalk is a testament of our time. Sung in Bambara, Susu, French and English, the songs were born in different times, across borders in different countries. All pieces have come together along the Niger river, home of the crocodiles – Bamako/Kati. The integration of these different music styles, rhythms and cultures into one band characterizes the sound of the band Spacewalk. Roadmusic Productions’ vision of connecting cultures around the planet with music is evident in this collaboration of global musicians.
The songs from the album Bamako Beat Talk also became the soundtrack of Marco Romanos music documentary The Cultural Journey to Timbuktu.
