PRAEDは、レバノン出身のラエド・ヤシンと、レバノン／スイス出身のパド・コンカによるデュオ。2006年の結成以来、シャアビやダブケといった大衆音楽をフリージャズやエレクトロニクスと大胆に衝突させ、リズムに満ちたジャンル横断的なサウンドで知られる。
今年は結成20周年のワールドツアーで来日。今回は KUFUKI、DJ MEMAI + 服部正嗣、DJ Ritsuko Sakata、H.S. Love Hennessy と共に登場し、ダンスフロアを熱く揺らす
PRAED is the duo of Lebanese artist Raed Yassin and Lebanese/Swiss musician Paed Conca. Since forming in 2006, they have forged a distinctive sound that collides shaabi and dabke with free jazz and electronics, creating rhythm-charged, genre-defying performances.
They arrive in Japan on their 20th anniversary world tour, joined by KUFUKI, DJ MEMAI + Masatsugu Hattori, and DJs Ritsuko Sakata and H.S. Love Hennessy—ready to set the dance floor on fire
